Alan Macek

Since being called to the Ontario Bar in 2006, Alan’s practice in intellectual property litigation and patent prosecution has focused in electrical and computer related technology. Alan is also a registered patent agent and a registered trademark agent.
Alan is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Toronto Intellectual Property Group. He is also an Associate member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada.
Prior to earning his J.D. from the University of Toronto in 2005, Alan obtained a B.A.Sc. from the University of British Columbia in Engineering Physics (Computer Science Option, Math Honours with Distinction) in 2002, on a full scholarship. Prior to entering law school, Alan worked at several computer and communication engineering firms.
