Jenna L. Wilson, Partner

Jenna’s practice includes patent prosecution and litigation, with an emphasis on information and communication technology. As a registered patent agent, she has drafted patent applications and procured patent rights for clients across a wide range of technologies. In addition, she advises and represents clients in patent and copyright litigation in information and high tech fields such as software and wireless communications.
Jenna also handles licensing and copyright issues pertaining to software, artistic and literary works, and other subject matter in traditional and digital formats. She also represents clients in domain name disputes and is a registered trademark agent.
Jenna is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Toronto Intellectual Property Group, American Bar Association, and the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and an Associate member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada. She has written articles on intellectual property issues for various publications and has contributed to continuing legal education seminars, and is the co-author of the Patents Chapter in Intellectual Property Disputes:  Resolutions and Remedies published by Thomson Carswell. Jenna currently serves on the Canadian Patent Agent Examining Board.
Jenna was called to the Ontario Bar in 2000. Prior to obtaining her J.D. from the University of Toronto in 1998, Jenna earned a B.Sc. in Co-operative Applied Physics from the University of Waterloo in 1995. She also has work experience in corrosion testing and semiconductor materials characterization.
