Jennifer Ko

Jennifer was called to the Ontario Bar in 2008. Her practice includes intellectual property litigation and patent prosecution, with an emphasis on biomedical and electrical technology.
Jennifer received her LL.B. from Dalhousie Law School in 2007 and was the recipient of the William Johnston Grant Q.C. Award. She received her B.A.Sc. from the University of Toronto in Engineering Science in 2001, with a specialty in Biomedical-Electrical Engineering. Jennifer also received an M.A.Sc. from McMaster University in Electrical Engineering and was awarded a Certificate of Excellence in 2004 for her outstanding thesis on the development of a computational model of neural circuits in the central auditory system. Jennifer is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Toronto Intellectual Property Group.
Jennifer previously worked in the telecommunications industry, specifically in the areas of fibre optic communications and telemedicine.
