Michael Crinson Michael Crinson

Michael Crinson is a partner of Dimock Stratton LLP and has been with the firm since 2000. He practices in the area of intellectual property litigation, and has been counsel before the Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal, Ontario Superior Court, Ontario Court of Appeal and Alberta Court of Queen's Bench.

Author of several articles, Michael's work has appeared and been presented in a number of arenas, including the National Judicial Institute, Intellectual Property Quarterly, the Advocates' Society, the INFONEX Conference on Banking Litigation, the INFONEX Law Clerks Forum, and the Intellectual Property Journal. He is also a member of the Canadian and American Bar Associations, the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada, the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).

Michael obtained his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1997. He earned a Master of Science, Physics (Biophysics) at the University of Guelph in 1991 and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biochemistry from the University of Dundee in 1989. Michael also has several years' research experience in the scientific academic environment and in the commercial pharmaceutical industry.
