Mark B. Eisen
Mark B. Eisen joined Dimock Stratton LLP as a partner in 1999 and has practised intellectual property law since his call to the Ontario Bar in 1985. Mark is a Registered Patent Agent and a Registered Trade-mark Agent, and specializes in the drafting and prosecution of electrical and electronic patent applications and the protection of trademarks in both Canada and the United States.
Mark is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Intellectual Property (Patent) Law.
He has written and published several articles that have appeared in Canadian intellectual property publications, and has spoken at various intellectual property programs. He is Chair of the Tutorials Committee for the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and teaches IPIC's annual Patent Drafting tutorial. Mark is a member of IPIC's Joint Liason Committee - Patents, the Industrial Design Committee, and a former member of Council. He is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association and International Trademark Association.
Mark received his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1983 following studies in math and sciences at the University of Toronto.
