Angela Furlanetto
Angela Furlanetto is a partner of Dimock Stratton LLP. Angela's practice includes intellectual property litigation, particularly patent litigation involving pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and chemical subject-matter. She also prepares patent opinions and advises clients on patent issues in the areas of biotechnology and chemistry.
As an active member of the profession, Angela has spoken at a number of conferences. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and serves on its Court Practices Committee. She is also a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC), the American Bar Association, and the Toronto Biotechnology Initiative. Angela is also a frequent contributor of articles and papers to intellectual property journals and reports.
Angela earned her LL.B. at the University of Western Ontario in 1996. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Masters of Science (Biochemistry) in 1993 and from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry; First Class) in 1991. She is a Registered Patent and Trade-mark Agent.
